Family treasure painting provides long time “wonder and contentment”

Hi
My late mother bought one of Jack’s paintings at a Calgary gallery in the 60s. It’s been hanging over the mantle ever since. This oil painting has always brought such wonder and contentment to my family and myself.
I am unaware of its title. Do you know the title of this work by your gifted father?
Please let me know if you do.
Thanks.
Sincerely Greg B

Unfortunately, we don’t know the name of this painting. With a long career and literally thousands of pieces, tracing everything is like putting a big puzzle together. We are glad that this one has given so much pleasure to a family for so long. Lynn and Paula

  1. NEWS FLASH !! A hint for all proud owners of seemingly un-named Jack Lee McLean originals…Look on the back of the painting..and you may find the name 🙂 Paula suggested this to Greg B. and he is happy…HERE’S THE EMAIL EXCHANGE..Dear Greg,
I am so happy you enjoy this painting. I’m afraid I don’t know the name of it, but perhaps the name is on the back of the painting. It looks like southern Alberta Rangeland…Paula
